The Broome Residential College is an established boarding facility providing accommodation for secondary students, years 7 to 12 who wish to study in Broome. Priority is given to students from the Kimberley Region of Western Australia.

Situated in the beautiful, regional centre of Broome, 2350 km north of Perth, the College caters to students attending both Broome Senior High School and St Mary’s College. Located at the corner of Kerr and Matsumoto streets in Broome, the College was designed in collaboration with local Traditional Owner representation to blend with the natural environment, provide a state of the art facility, and maintain environmental sustainability. The facility has the bed capacity of 72 students with an exciting extension project due to take place in late 2014/15 and continue throughout 2015/16 to accommodate up to 116 students.

The establishment of the facility was a joint venture between the Western Australian Department of Education and Training, Country High School Hostels Authority and the Catholic Education Office.

The Broome Residential College is committed to providing a highly valued boarding service for the Kimberley region, which supports students in their personal development and education in a safe and caring environment.
